Frequency Inverter Drive |
In harmony with the advanced R1 Extroller Microprocessor Controller, Variable Speed is achieved, perfectly matching compressor capacity to system demand, leading to energy savings and prolonged equipment life. |
Safety valve
This valve protects the unit against excessive high discharge pressure.
Minimum pressure valve
This value ensures that the necessary oil pressure for cooling and lubricating of the airend is maintained on start-up even if all system air-lines are fully open.
Lubricant thermal valve
This valve insures that injected oil is maintained at a proper temperature for increased efficiency and cooling of the air-end. This value is controlled automatically by a thermostat.
Oil filter
The injected oil into the airend is filtered by a high capacity oil filter. This filter protects the airend from contaminants. The condition of this filter is checked by a differential pressure switch.
Outlet moisture separator
The outlet liquid separator removes moisture to ensure dry and clean system air. The separator has an automatic drain valve with adjustable timer.
Air line separator
The control air lines are kept free of harmful moisture, sludge, and oil contamination by this separator.
Oil scavenge line sight glass
The basket of the oil separator element is filled with separated oil. The oil is returned to the compressor through the oil scavenge line. An oil scavenge line filter is installed to prevent slugging. An operator can check the filter element by using the sight glass.
Modular housing unit
Unit cabinets are assembled with one touch latches for easy access to maintenance items.
Pressure switch for separator element blocked protection
This switch is provided to prevent high air discharge temperature. If the oil separator differential becomes too great the machine will shut down. The separator blocked indicator light will illuminate and an audible alarm will sound.
Pressure switch for oil filter blocked protection
This switch is provided to prevent foreign material build-up. The unit will shut down, an indicating light will be lit, and an audible alarm will sound.
Temperature switch for discharge high temperature protection
This switch will protect a unit from any damage due to an abnormal rise of the discharge air temperature and keep the lubricant from gradual heat deterioration.
Motor overload protection
Three leg protection for compressor motors is provided by mercury type circuit breakers, which function precisely and accurately, safeguarding the airend motor from phase unbalance and motor overload.
Phase reversal protection
This relay prevents reverse rotation of the airend in the event of phase reversal.
